PM Modi Holds Talks with Israeli PM Netanyahu to Boost Strategic Partnership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke by phone on January 7, 2026, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss strengthening the India–Israel strategic partnership in the coming year. During their conversation, both leaders also exchanged New Year greetings and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to working closely on shared priorities.

Both leaders reaffirmed their shared resolve to combat terrorism with even greater determination, reflecting a key aspect of their ongoing partnership. 

The conversation also touched on regional developments and the evolving geopolitical situation, and acknowledged the importance of continued dialogue and coordination between New Delhi and Tel Aviv. Netanyahu reportedly expressed his eagerness to engage further in person in the near future.
